About our digital shelf data, in general

The Digital Shelf Optimization (DSO) app takes all the information you provided to the CommerceIQ team during implementation and creates a routine to crawl your retailer sites to gather information about how your products and your competitors' products are being listed - and how that's impacting your and their share of search.

DSO takes all the data we gather and offers you reporting options for how to analyze them.

Generally, you have three options for ways to look at reports.

  1. Look at an aggregate view of digital shelf data in an all-up scorecard.

  2. Export data for any of the data types for offline review.

This page explores option 1: Scorecards, and in particular, out of the box scorecards.

About Scorecards, in particular

Scorecards (scorecard reports) are available to customers who have purchased them as a feature of DSO. If you want these reports available in your account but don't see them, please contact the DSO manager for your company or your CommerceIQ Customer Success Director to discuss options.

Scorecards are a way of aggregating digital shelf data we collect about your and your competitors' product listings across your retailers with the goal of simplifying your view so you can focus energy toward best actions to take next.

There are three out of the box Scorecards that are already configured for you: Global Scorecard, Country Scorecard, Competitor Scorecard. And there's an option to create your own reports which are essentially customized scorecards so you can see your data laid out how you prefer.

Out of the box scorecards

About Global Scorecard

You'll only see this as an option if your organization is contracted to have it and your organization has worked with CommerceIQ to implement it.

To open it, go to Global Scorecard in the top of the main menu in the CommerceIQ platform. Use filters at the top of the report to define date ranges, periods for data grouping, and to narrow the scope for data to reflect in reporting.

Reporting widgets show digital shelf performance scores across your global instances and by region, area, market, brand, and category. Scores are a reflection of the types of things you asked us to monitor about your product listings - and results we found for those things when we visited your retailer sites to gather the information you asked for.

About Country Scorecard

You'll only see this as an option if your organization is contracted to have it and your organization has worked with CommerceIQ to implement it.

To open it, go to Country Scorecard in the top of the main menu in the CommerceIQ platform. Data reflected are for the country selected in the Region selector at the top of the main navigation menu. Use filters at the top of the report to define date ranges, periods for data grouping, and to narrow the scope for data to reflect in reporting.

Reporting widgets show digital shelf performance scores across retailers - and by measure, retailer, category, and brand. Scores are a reflection of the types of things you asked us to monitor about your product listings - and results we found for those things when we visited your retailer sites to gather the information you asked for.

About Competitor Scorecard

You'll only see this as an option if your organization is contracted to have it and your organization has worked with CommerceIQ to implement it. This scorecard shows similar information the Country Scorecard but information shown is for the key competitors you identified when you worked with CommerceIQ to configure your DSO account.
