About SEARCH reports
On this page, get visibility into whether or not your products are ranking in search results and representing as many of the search results as you’d like them to across retailers.
Click the SEARCH menu header to expand and show links for relevant reports.
Click through Share of Search by Brand, Share of Search, Comparison By Retailer, Comparison By Search Term, Weighted Share of Voice, Search Rank Trends, and Top 5 Products reports to see how your search rankings and share of search are performing.
For each, use the date range in the top-right to adjust time periods driving charts and graphs. Use filters across the top to limit data driving charts and graphs.
About the Share of Search By Brand report
On the CommerceIQ menu, click to expand the SEARCH section, and then choose Share of Search By Brand to open this report.
In filters, choose one or more retailers and search terms you’d like to study the performance of on those retailers. Apply the filter.
Result: There’s a widget for each retailer you chose, and a graph inside that widget for each search term you chose.
Each graph shows the degree to which your brands were returned in search results for the given search term and retailer, for the date range defined.
Your brands returned as search results, are in color (green means share of search is up over date ranges defined; red means it's down). Gray search results represent brands other than yours.
You see whether your brands' overall share of search is up, down, or flat for the date ranges defined in the top-left of each graph.
About the Comparison by Retailer report
On the CommerceIQ menu, click to expand the SEARCH section, and then choose Comparison by Retailer to open this report.
In filters, choose as many retailers as you’d like and a search term you’d like to study the performance of on each of those retailers. Apply the filter.
Result: There’s a widget for each retailer you chose and a list of products the each widget.
Each list shows the products that were returned as search results for the retailer selected, the search term selected, on the date chosen.
Results with active ads or price promotions are marked.
About the Comparison by Search Term report
On the CommerceIQ menu, click to expand the SEARCH section, and then choose Comparison by Search Term to open this report.
In filters, choose a retailer and as many search terms as you’d like in order to study search term performance on the retailer. Apply the filter.
Result: All the widgets are for the same retailer. There’s a widget for each search term you chose and a list of products in each.
Each list shows the products that were returned as search results for the retailer selected, the search term selected, on the date chosen.
Results with active ads or price promotions are marked.
About the Search Rank Trends report
On the CommerceIQ menu, click to expand the SEARCH section, and then choose Search Rank Trends to open this report.
In filters, choose as many retailers as you’d like and a search term in order to study how search rankings have changed over time on those retailers for that search term relative to your competitors. Apply the filter.
Result: The graph shows two lines for each retailer selected: one for your brands and one for your competitors’ brands for the date range defined.
About the Top 5 Products report
On the CommerceIQ menu, click to expand the SEARCH section, and then choose Top 5 Products to open this report.
In filters, choose as many retailers as you’d like and a search term in order to study how your brands’ share of search vs your competitors’ have changed over time for the search term you selected. Apply the filter.
Result: The graph shows two lines for each retailer selected: one for your brands and one for your competitors’ brands for the date range defined.
