The Share of Voice (SOV) dashboard in CommerceIQ helps you track your brand’s visibility on Amazon search results compared to your competitors. Use it to understand how often your products appear in top positions for high-priority keywords—and how your performance is trending over time.

 

Search performance table

The top section of the dashboard shows your Share of Voice by keyword. Use this section to determine you share of voice across different key metrics.

This visual strip shows the brand-level ownership of Page 1 search results for the selected keyword.

  • Each block represents one ASIN on Page 1

  • Colors indicate the brand; hover to see brand names and ASINs

  • Helpful for understanding competitive presence and crowding

Change the time ranges on this widget to view the search position of your product before and after key events like a promotion, ad campaign, or new product launch.

Before

 

Before Prime Day, [Product 1] is ranked 17 on the highest volume keyword in this category.

 

After

 

After targeted retail media spend combined with promotional investment, [Product 1] is now ranked 4 on this same keyword, and the brands total SOV has increased from 15.5% to 20.1%.

 

Share of search over time

 

The line chart at the bottom tracks your brand’s share of Page 1 over time, compared to key competitors.

  • My Brands: Your internal brand(s), typically uploaded via catalog

  • Competitors: Selected rivals shown for comparison

  • Tooltip: Hover to see the exact % share on a given date

Use this to identify trends, spot spikes or dips, and tie changes to events like promotions, out-of-stock issues, or product launches.

 

How to use this dashboard

  1. Monitor keyword performance: Focus on top-converting or high-traffic keywords

  2. Track visibility vs. competitors: See how much real estate you're winning or losing

  3. Identify optimization opportunities: Use low SOV as a signal to improve content, pricing, or availability
